In October I had the enormous privilege of being invited to participate in the RBA Africa Summit in Johannesburg. It was an exciting and challenging experience, working with fellow practitioners from Australia, New Zealand, Northern Ireland and the USA with delegates from the Southern African states including Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe. Whilst still fresh in my mind, I’ve captured my reflections of the experience in a brief paper which can be downloaded from the Resources section of the website under “Articles”. Whilst I attended the Summit as a contributor, I learned at least as much from the African delegates as they might have learned from me including the philosophy of Ubuntu that underpins South Africa’s remarkable Truth and Reconciliation process.
