I’ve just published a very short article by Mark Funkhouser, Director of the USA based Governing Institute, who talks about the value of OBA/RBA thinking in improving community conditions. He quotes public policy pioneer Aaron Wildavsky in saying ““The highest form of analysis is using intellect to aid interaction between people”. This is what attracted me to Outcome Based Accountability; its ability to make the complex simple to understand when most of my prior experience was filled with people doing the complete opposite. He talks about the OBA approach as being “cleaner, simpler, more practical and less elitist”. I’ll second that. You can see the article by clicking HERE
